Serving Where Few Choose To Go
Roger & Liliana - Church Planters + Pastors in La Venta, Honduras
Four years ago, we left everything behind.
Not out of impulse - out of obedience. We packed our lives, our two sons (now 15 and 7), and moved to La Venta, a small rural village outside the city of Tegucigalpa in Honduras, Central America. A place most people pass by without stopping. We did stop. We left the city, Tegucigalpa, and stayed in La Venta.
Since then, with the support of local brothers and sisters, we have planted Iglesia Biblical Rey de Gracia (King of Grace Bible Church) - a young, vibrant church in a community with limited resources but endless need. We preach the Word, disciple families, and are building something eternal in a place the world largely overlooks. We love this, and our passion is rooted in Christ Jesus.
This work is real. The fruit is real. And so are the needs.
We lack resources for basic ministry essentials - materials, transportation, and at times even for our own family's daily needs. We are not asking for comfort. We are asking for partnership in a mission that matters.
Your prayer sustains us. Your giving advances the Gospel.
If God is moving you to stand with us - in intercession, in financial support, or both - we invite you to join us soon, because we need you. Jesus Himself said it: "The harvest is great, but the laborers are few." Luke 10:2. Help us keep going.
The Great Commission has no spectators. You either go, or you send. What's your role?
