Founder & Executive Director of WABI
Empowering missions on an organic level based on the truth of Scripture over traditions of men
Worldwide Ministry and Networking
Jim and Jenny travel very frequently throughout the US and worldwide assisting their ministry partners, creating and maintaining a broad network of individuals, churches, and businesses that are all working to advance the Kingdom of God.
Executive Director of WABI
Besides guiding the overall direction of this Wyoming non-profit, Jim is also responsible for much of the behind-the-scenes work of WABI.
Hospitality and Biblical Counseling
Jim and Jenny are constantly opening up their home to new and old friends alike, encouraging and discipling them in the living out of the ways of God, as taught throughout the entirety of Scripture.
Jim and Jenny's greatest desire is to see people come to faith in Jesus Christ, and to submit fully to His ways in obedience to what He taught, based on Matt 28:19-20.
Jim and Jenny started into full time ministry in 1993 with Friendship Sports International. They will be concluding their time with FSI in November 2026.
During his 32 year career with FSI, Jim worked in every position: staff, board member, vice-president, president, executive director, and board chair.
Jim led over 140 teams, mostly to Central America, but also to Europe, Micronesia, and the United States, with over 2000 team members.
Having a background in athletics and overseas missions, Jim already had a good understanding of what was required to take sports teams out. He took a wide variety of these teams which used athletics as the platform for sharing the Gospel message.
Besides sports ministry, Jim also led many other teams that included:
Pastoral Ministry
Building Teams for churches, camps, and homes
Women’s and Men’s Conferences
Orphanage and International School Internships
Additionally, Jim served by leading the following ministry work within the US:
College Student Leadership Trips
Hosting Home Bible Studies and Biblical Counseling
Coaching College Baseball
He also served on various church boards and non-profit organization boards.
Jenny’s role was full-time at home- raising the kids, homeschooling, and holding down the fort. She traveled with the teams occasionally when the kids were younger, and more often after they were grown. Jim often took one of the kids with him. The exposure to missions, travel, and third world countries was invaluable.
Jenny is a certified herbalist and aromatherapist, but her real love is for the Holy Scriptures and ministering to women.
Currently, Jim’s passion for international missions on an organic level has fueled the formation of Wine and Bread International.
It is a ministry that provides help for fellowships and individuals who have a desire to share the Gospel through various means. Jim’s main focus is to see that the Good News of the Kingdom of God is shared based in the TRUTH of the Bible and not traditions of men.
In his years of ministry, Jim learned that many people from different backgrounds and denominations are called to minister the Gospel, and there is more common ground than differences.
Believing in the profitability of the whole of Scripture (2 Timothy 3:16) is the foundational principle of Wine and Bread International. Jim and Jenny desire both local and international relationships based on this truth.
Jim and Jenny have been married for 41 years. They have four (wonderful!) adult children and eleven (amazing!) grandchildren.
